The Island
Known as the Green Island, São Miguel is one of the 9 volcanic islands of the Azores. Here you can take time for yourself and contemplate the natural beauty that surrounds you. You can explore marine species like whales and dolphins, the nearest Marina is only 5 min away by car. On land, there are natural hot springs, lagoons, beaches, monuments and walking and bike trails to explore all around the island. The weather was always changing but was easy to switch from the beach to hot springs or simply go home and dive in an awesome pool or sit down and read a book in the garden...Loved staying at Guava, a central location, comfortable, lovely outdoors. Wir haben zehn Tage im Green Duplex verbracht. Die Maisonettewohnung ist wunderschön gestaltet, alles - die Möbel und die Ausstattung - ist neu, perfekt durchdacht und sehr gepflegt. Der Garten ist atemberaubend schön, man kann zB am Pool sitzen und aufs Meer schauen. Der Dorfstrand ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Es gibt stets ausreichend Parkplätze. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr freundlich und wir haben uns überall auf der Insel wohl gefühlt. Raquel und ihr Team sind aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar. Raquel hat tolle Tipps rund um die Insel, die sie in einem Guide zusammengestellt hat. Der Ort ist auch perfekt zum Heiraten, für einen Heiratsantrag oder die Flitterwochen.
